All Conditions for Divestment of Scania Shares Fulfilled
All conditions regarding the divestment of the Wallenberg Foundations (1) remaining shares in Scania to Volkswagen have now been fulfilled. The transaction of 46,684,872 A-shares in Scania at a price of SEK 200 per share, prior to adjustments for dividends, proceeds from redemption programs and additional interest compensation on the transaction value, can thereby be finalized. The net proceeds after these adjustments and less transaction costs amounts to SEK 8.9 bn. Settlement is expected on July 22, 2008.

The Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation, the Marianne and Marcus Wallenberg Foundation and the Marcus and Amalia Wallenberg Foundation are together the largest private funders of research in Sweden.
